Hire A Veteran Initiative

The Veteran’s Assistance Office, located on the Danville Community College main campus, is assisting veterans in finding full-time or part-time jobs while they continue their education. Randy Kelley, our newly hired Veterans Specialist, explains many veterans, especially those returning from active duty, tell him that one of their biggest problems is finding a job. They need employment to help them with expenses that the Veterans Administration does not fund,such as housing, clothing, etc. Kelley is asking area businesses and industries that are seeking dependable, reliable help with a good work ethic to assist with his initiative to “Hire A Veteran”.
